Sync is a Sodium programming block broadcast by SPN since April 1, 1980. Marketed towards young adults, its content mostly consists of sitcoms, scripted dramas, reality shows, and music videos, and air between 9:00 pm and 6:00 am.

The idea for Sync came into existence after market research had concluded that SPN lacked an audience of young adult viewers. Executives realized that they needed to attract said group and began brainstorming various ideas. Eventually, an idea to add a young adult programming block was suggested.

Its launch was not only publicized heavily by SPN, but by various magazines and newspapers. This led to Sync's debut broadcast receiving 5.5 million viewers and the brand quickly becoming synonymous with Sodium popular culture.
