The Coon is a raccoon-themed superhero and a character in Peppa's adventures. He appears as the hidden main antagonist of the episode "Everybody Wants, Everybody Bleeds", where he is responsible for everybody in Peppatown bleeding to death. He later reforms and joins the kids, becoming the protagonist of the episode "The Coon: Prison Break". He also made a third appearance in "The Peppa-mobile" where he sold Peppa a bicycle that was themed around him, but mistakenly calls it a ‘limo’.
He also has a small non-speaking cameo at the end of the episode "A Parade With Bikes In It".
Appearance[]
The Coon appears on posters and his profile picture as a boy wearing a superhero costume with a raccoon theme. In reality, he is actually extremely fat.
Role[]
The Coon appears multiple times throughout the episode on posters with "Who is The Coon?" written on them, and he is shown to have his own Tinder account with a profile picture depicting him. Near the end of the episode, however, Peppa and friends track down The Coon at his "lair", which is his basement, and discover he’s really just an average, fat kid with no real superpowers. The Coon reveals that the reason he made everybody start bleeding to death was because he was planning on inventing a cure, and then using it to save everybody's life, which would make him extremely popular. Unfortunately, he failed to find a cure, and decided to just go into hiding.
Now that the kids know his secret, he decides to sit in his lair’s holding cell for the rest of his life. Peppa convinces him otherwise, saying that if he just apologized for what he did, everyone would forgive him, and he would be a hero. The Coon realizes she'a right, and prepares to head to Peppatown with them to apologize. Suddenly, they find themselves surrounded by police, who arrest The Coon (mainly for having the word "Coon" in his name, which is of course slang for a black person) and drive him away in a police car.
The story continues in the next episode, where the kids use The Coon's tools in his lair to break him out of jail, which they successfully do, and they take him to Peppatown, where he apologizes and does indeed become a hero.
The Coon appears one last time in the episode "The Peppa-mobile" where he has a much smaller role, selling his own bicycle to Peppa that he thinks is a limo.
The Coon appears once again at the end of the episode "A Parade With Bikes In It" where he can be seen riding his bicycle (which now has a banner with "#coonandfriendsforever" printed on it) in the bike parade.
