In 2021, Madame Gazelle teaches the class about the history of amusement parks, resorts, and entertainment complexes.
Madame Gazelle: What was one of the ancestors of amusement parks, resorts, and entertainment complexes.
Elly Anderson: The world's fair.
Madame Gazelle: WRONG!
Samantha Sloth: The Midthbourgh Resort.
Madame Gazelle: Right. It was built almost 1 millennium ago for the Midthbourgh Fair and the Bertson Fair, which was years later. In the late 1800s, it regained it's status of being a tourist attraction. In the early 1960s, it burned down and was abandoned until 1970. It caught fire again in 1979 and was abandoned again until 2001, when a descendant of the first owner bought it. His son is going to renovate it with a Victorian/early amusement partk theme. The Midthbourgh's are currently thr richest family and I can't even explain the total! You have 15 minutes to do your Midthbourgh work.
[15 minutes later]
Madame Gazelle: We're going on a class trip to the resort.
